50% off to make your email life easier

My fav email links of the week

Hey there,

I can imagine your inbox right now—still smoldering from all those Black Friday campaigns. Been there, seen that. 🙃

But since it is the season of giving, I wanted to share something that could genuinely make your email life easier. I’m really bullish on how helpful Send Good Emails can be, especially during busy seasons like this one.

If you haven’t given it a spin yet, here’s a little nudge: use code BFRIDAY5050 for 50% off. It’ll active for the next couple of days, so don’t wait too long.

For this week’s issue, I’m trying something a little different. I’ve gathered a couple of email-related links that caught my attention recently, and I’d love to hear how you feel about this format. Hit reply and let me know.

☝️ A good reminder about email flows

I stumbled upon a LinkedIn post this week that’s a great reminder to set up your email flows correctly.

It’s important to make sure subscribers in a welcome flow don’t also receive regular campaigns or other automations at the same time. Overlapping messages can lead to:

  1. Annoying people with too many emails right off the bat

  2. Confusing people with different messages and offers

Setting up a few simple rules can help you avoid that.

📱Apple Intelligence in iOS Mail app

I came across this super thorough review of Apple’s Mail app updates. Check out the full review below:

📩 How to set up Apple branded email

Another Apple Mail link! Apple’s new Branded Email feature lets you pair your email sender address with your logo directly in Apple Mail. It’s a free, proprietary feature that lives within Apple Business Connect.

Unlike BIMI (which requires specific standards and certificates), Apple Branded Email is simpler to implement and free.

Since Apple Mail is probably the second most used email app in the world, setting this up could give you an edge and help your emails visually stand out in people’s inbox.

💻 Notion Mail app review

Naomi West was lucky enough to join Notion’s upcoming mail app, and she recently shared a pretty in-depth video review. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty hyped.

🐦 A fun email marketing tweet

That’s it for today. Let me know how you liked this format.

Cheers,

David
